$30K Fundraising Challenge
March and April are shaping up to be very busy months for the Brave Tide Foundation. We are preparing for both scheduled and emergency animal transports and need help to fulfill our mission. At a recent board meeting the foundation’s leadership discussed ways to spread the word about Brave Tide.
To reach as many people as possible and kickoff the spring flight operations, the board is pledging $1 per Facebook page ‘like’ in the months of March and April up to $10,000. Liking and sharing the Brave Tide Facebook page is an easy way to help animals in need and a great way to increase awareness about the foundation. The board has also secured a corporate donor that will match every dollar donated in March and April up to $10,000. Every dollar donated in March and April is actually $2 with the corporate match pledge! Donations can be made online or sent to our mailing address at PO Box 735, Boyertown, PA 19512.
That means in just 2 months, the foundation can raise $10,000 from Facebook page likes, $10,000 from donations, and $10,000 from the corporate match pledge for a two month total of $30,000. With your help, the Brave Tide Foundation can raise the necessary funds to continue saving lives, one flight at a time!
The Brave Tide Foundation, Inc. is a nonprofit, tax exempt, publicly supported organization under section 501(c)(3) of the IRS code, and is incorporated and registered in Pennsylvania. All donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
Greyhounds in Gettysburg
In just 2 short months, the Greyhounds in Gettysburg event will be held in Gettysburg, PA. From the official site:
Every April, greyhound lovers from across the country come together for “Greyhounds in Gettysburg,” an event designed for shopping, education, socialization, and other activities for and about greyhounds. This is the largest greyhound event in the country, and if you have never attended GiG, this year should be the year you do.
Please visit the Greyhounds in Gettysburg site to learn more about the event, view the schedule of events, and register.
